Summary this episode : The death of wealthy party girl Vivian Bowers doesn't add up for FBI agent Will Moreno (Laz Alonso), especially in a family as suspicious as the Bowers. Convinced that the tabloid staple's death was a homicide, he recruits his former SFPD partner and Vivian's childhood best friend, Joanna Padget Locasto (Meagan Good) to re-establish ties with the Bowers. Determined to find justice for her estranged best friend, Joanna infiltrates the dynasty she once considered family, and quickly begins to uncover why Vivian's life was very much in danger.
When wealthy socialite and notorious party girl Vivian Bowers is found dead of an overdose, no one is really surprised. The heiress to the Bowers pharmaceutical empire has been tabloid fodder for years: wild, pretty, privileged... and now dead at the age of 32. Yep, after Bay is hit a major blow at Buckner in the season premiere, she makes the decision to join Daphne and Emmett (Sean Berdy) at Carlton School for the Deaf. So how will Bay transition to speaking a language that isn't her first? "Bay is going to face many challenges going to Carlton -- the main thing being she's not deaf," Marano says. "That's going to be a big issue going into a brand new world with a brand new culture she thinks she knows a little bit about but really she's never fully immersed herself in as the outsider." Adds Weiss, "When there is a battleground for having hearing students at a deaf school, Daphne is going to be put in the middle."
It won't be long before Daphne picks up the pieces from her last relationship with a new one. "We really like to throw challenges at Daphne, particularly romantically," says Weiss. "In the first 10 episodes we're throwing her someone new and she's never dated anyone like this, and I wonder if fans who know Daphne well can guess what that means." Anyone else guess it's Travis?

This docudrama attempts to show the flip side of the luxurious, high profile world of rap by featuring women who are struggling to build the careers and secure the relationships they want in a male-dominated industry that markets womanizing bachelorhood and female objectification. Unfortunately, the significance of this message gets lost in the endless catty arguments and trashy behavior exhibited by some of the cast.
The women featured here are choosing to be part of the rapper lifestyle, but some don’t appear to be very happy with these choices. Meanwhile, the fact that some of them are defining themselves and their lives according to the needs and goals of their rapping romantic partners and business associates makes them less than ideal role models for young women. It's hard to figure out exactly what it is that you're supposed to take away from this series, but ultimately, the message it sends to women isn’t very empowering.Parents can talk about rap music. What's the history of rap music and the culture that surrounds it? Talk about the messages that rap music and hip-hop culture promote -- both the good and the bad.
