In any case I bet this is related to either https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBWS-2235 https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBWS-2235 or https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBWS-2254 https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBWS-2254, can you confirm? Those are likely to be fixed in JBossWS 4 and merged to EAP.
