Did you check eclipse Error Log View? You also can try to eclips using command line interface and check if there are any exceptions in standard/error output. Just start terminal on linux or command processor on Windows, start eclipse from it, run Hibernate Code Generation again and see if anything reported in terminal/cmd window.
