I'm expecting to find time for JBPM-3168 after 2.1 is out. I would start off with cloning the project on github ( https://github.com/tsurdilo/process-designer https://github.com/tsurdilo/process-designer) and trying to build it locally (it uses maven so not much explanation needed I hope).
