jbpmsuite contains a JBoss Application Server (JBoss AS). As stated before, that is where the problem is, not jBPM. You datasource in the AS is not configured correctly. The link you refere to in your initial post is about MySQL.... totally different... so please, please, see how to configure an oracle datasource correctly in JBoss AS.
