genman Thanks for your reply. So you have the entire jboss installation top down chown'd by usr/grp and no part of it, is owned by root? I changed my entire installation ownership from root to our usr/grp. Now all that remains is to change jboss' port from 80 to 8080 but I am not sure where to do this? I don't see a config file.
