thank you for the reply, jaikiran. here is my boot.log (again, since it is too long), i uploaded to http://www.sistema.co.id/boot.log i downloaded the source from http://sourceforge.net/projects/jboss/files/JBoss/JBoss-5.1.0.GA/jboss-5..... i extract the file to /app/jboss-5.1.0.GA and follow the instruction in /app/jboss-5.1.0.GA/bin/jboss_init_hpux.sh since there is java1.5 already, i set the JAVA_HOME to /opt/java1.5 and try to run the script with ./run.sh -b 0.0.0.0 to allow all incoming connection. it seems that it is not necessary to add the ports to /etc/services but i add some ports including 8080 to that file. i will read the DebugBindException and try to check the logs.
