I am trying to avoid using Ant. But I guess the reason why seam-gen is recommended is because JBoss Eclipse's deficiency on supporting hot deployment. I've used IBM WSAD 5.1 before and I could edit a page and switch to the browser immediately to see the change. Just hope the Red Hat Deverloper Studio will improve on this.
