I have installed jbpm5.2.0 in my system and able to run the sample workflow through users john and mary. and it worked well. Now i have started setting up my own users. I have read that if we add/modify users in user.properties and roles.properties it should pick up the newly created users. However i am unable to login with newly created users. It neither throws error nor proceeds further. I have cross-checked the logs in server.log. I don't see any error. If we enter any wrong password it is throwing an error. However if the credentials are correct, i am unable to proceed. I am still in login page and am struck there. Please help me to resolve this issue.
