Target Platform 4.42.0.Final is released

Changes (compared to previous 4.41.2.Final release) =================================================== * JBDS-3383 : WTP feature patch * JBIDE-19112: Luna SR2 * JBIDE-19194: minimal-json * JBIDE-19045 & JBIDE-18869: Move some external deps from TP to pom.xml... Usage ===== Target platform 4.42,0,Final is what JBoss Tools 4.2,3.Final will use. All Jenkins jobs for branch jbosstools-4.2.x and parent pom 4.2.3.Final-SNAPSHOT have been updated to use target platform ${TARGET_PLATFORM_VERSION}. The following p2 repositories *will be modified* to point to this new target platform while releasing JBoss Tools 4.2.3.Final: * http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/targetplatforms/jbosstoolstarget/luna/ * http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/targetplatforms/jbdevstudiotarget/luna/ Until then, you can access the target platform at the URLs below. m2e 1.6 M6 is available

Hi, we've published m2e 1.6 M6 (a.k.a 1.6.0.20150324-2020) to the milestones repository [1]. The full changelog is available at [2]. This milestone release contains a couple interesting enhancement/bugs fixes : - the embedded Maven is now 3.3.1 [3]. Please note Run As > Maven is still broken though [4]. You'll need to manually set -Dmaven.multiModuleProjectDirectory in the launch configuration parameters - An option to auto update out-of-date project configuration is now available in the Maven preferences [5]. It's turned off by default since we *just* found it could cause endless builds in certain circumstances [6]. - The maven archetype plugin has been updated to 2.3 [7]. This fixes a whole bunch of archetype related issues, which is great. The caveat is some classes exposed through the very old archetype jars have changed, "potentially" breaking some 3rd party adopters. Igor mentioned he plans on moving the archetype features out of m2e-core in the future, as a consequence, all archetype packages have been flagged as internal [8]. Please give it a try and let us now about any problems you find [9]. Site doesn't mention VPE/VPV, JS editor addition nor JSF support?

Hi all, As I'm trying to write an answer on some French forum about how to do JSF in Eclipse, I realize I couldn't find a good link to what JBoss Tools provide on this topic. I expected to find at least a paragraph about JSF editor from http://tools.jboss.org/features/ but couldn't find one. Have I missed it, or are we intentionally hiding our JSF tools from that page? The same goes for our JavaScript tools and for Visual Preview. I believe those are interesting features to highlight and I believe they lack visibility from the website. Which modules depend on EGit/JGit?

Hi all, With https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-3285 , we'll most likely need to adopt snapshots of EGit/JGit 4.0 in our target-platform for JBT 4.3. What are the impacted modules? Do you already expect some issues related to this move? Are you actively following JGit/EGit changes to react to them ASAP? In short, would it be OK to adopt snapshots from now on? welcome to 'docker'

Hey, It's been looming but now it has happened. For a while 'docker' issues been put under 'openshift' but now that docker will be mainly at eclipse.org (under linux tools) and the persons doing it are different we agreed on creating a dedicated 'docker' component to make it easier to search/report against.
