XULRunner plugin/feature URL change
by Marshall Culpepper
Hey guys..
Looks like the FTP URL for XULRunner plugins/features we were using for
bundling has changed. The new URL is below:
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/xulrunner/releases/1.8.1.3/contrib/eclipse/
Phillipe/ATF have also followed our suggestion and merged all the
platform-specific features into one feature, so we can get rid of our
XULRunner feature that did this.
I'll be updating all this in trunk / releng for 2.1

questions for 2.1 beta
by Vitali Yemialyanchyk
Hello,
Max could you please review JBIDE-719 & JBIDE-1617 - these issues are
planned to release 2.1 beta, so I worry about its state.
Also for JBIDE-1178 I am waiting for your comments to my questions in JIRA,
please find time for it, cause for us this is first priority issue.
Currently we are reviewing/fixing issues from JIRA & atlassian which has
lower priorities.
Best regards,
Vitali

Starting 2.0.1 tagging / build
by Marshall Culpepper
Hey guys..
Since it looks like "2.0.1" is the correct version for the incorrectly
labeled plugins in JSF, I'm going to go ahead and tag and start a
release build for testing. I'll post links once it's done. If the
versioning needs to be rolled back to 2.1.0 for some strange reason, we
can do another build.

Lost issue about Seam 2.0.1 and WTP
by Max Rydahl Andersen
Hi,
I've seen a couple people having issues with Seam 2.0.1 and WTP and I just remembered we had an issue with WTP breaking when
there was a META-INF/ejb-jar.xml in one of its jars and I remember it as the issue had a description of a workaround but now
I can't find the issue...any of you guys remembering it ?

org.eclipse.wst.common.componentcore.datamodel.properties.ICreateReferenceComponentsDataModelProperties
TARGET_COMPONENT_ARCHIVE_NAME
These classes and methods have been deprecated (with suggested
replacements) since April 4, 2006. They were deprecated before WTP 1.5
was released, and as such, adopers have had WTP 1.5 through 1.5.5 and 2.0
through 2.0.2 to modify their code. Furthermore, the functionality of
these classes has been questionable (most of them have been broken) since
WTP 1.5.
For reference, WTP's new API policy :
http://wiki.eclipse.org/WTP_API_Policy
And lastly, as per that policy, we will be deleting the above classes,
methods, and statics as soon as the WTP 3.0 Integration build is declared
on March 21, 2008. As such, the deletion will be rolled out to adopters
in the March 28, 2008 WTP 3.0 Integration build.
Thanks - Chuck
