welcome to the lovely world of keyboard mappings and the various
emulation layers needed.
I get similar funky stuff happening when i toggle between danish,
english and french keyboard layouts...
i.e. all the refactoring shortcuts doesn't work for me unless I run in
english AND have an external keyboard directly attached.
