jBPM3 - state of the art

Dear Folks, I took a close look at Patterns-based Evaluation of Open Source BPM Systems http://www.workflowpatterns.com/documentation/documents/BPM-07-12.pdf This paper gives a good impression of where jBPM3 (jbpm-3.1.4) stands with respect to other Open Source BPM Systems and also some commercial ones. I digested the results in http://jbpm.dyndns.org/jbpmwiki/index.php?title=BPMSupportedPatterns According to this research paper jBPM3 has * complete support for 18 patters - 12% * partial support for 8 patters - 0.5% * no support for 121 patters - 87.5% Every pattern is associated with a JIRA issue https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBPM/component/12311941 Using this information we can decide and record, which patterns the future JBossBPM product should support through the API. [Design of JBoss jBPM] - With Ganymede the jPDL Designer has a strange appearance

Hello to all, a week ago I switched to Ganymede. As I extend the jPDL Graphical Process Designer a little bit I need the GEF as well. But there is a strange effect with Ganymede. With Eclipse 3.3 the PaletteGroups looked like this screenshot I have from the JBoss-website http://www.jboss.org/file-access/default/members/jbossjbpm/images/gpd_exa... Since I'm using with Ganyemede it looks like this http://wwwpub.zih.tu-dresden.de/~s2658050/gpd_ganymede.png As you can see there is the strange effect with the white area where the PaletteEntry(s) are situated and there aren't categories anymore. I debugged the code of creation of the entries within its groups and it seems to be correctly. working with customer issues

Hi Alejandro, do we have documentation available on how to work with product releases? For example, how do I know #1 what jbpm branch applies to what SOA version? #2 how do I integrate jbpm with the SOA platform? #3 how do I verify that it is actually working in the SOA context? If this is not documented already - how do you do it? You got me wrong in the first place. With "unification" I was addressing the the technical means to configure and run it, this is the security configuration mbean. Whatever JAAS login module is used below was not on my plate. But you are right, it should be using the same datastore across modules. Feel free to change it to the DB login module.
