The first cut of the console only works on client side mock RPC stubs. I am currently working on the RPC integration, which will probably use REST/Json interfaces between the client and the server. The actual server side implementation can leverage anything that's feasible to access the jBPM data. I will take a look at the command facade and keep you posted. Bernd, your proposal to set the context classloader around all the user code places is ok. it would be great if you could do that. i'll review and back you up in case that turns out to be necessary. but the only part i didn't get yet was the loading classes from the dedicated ear files. if i understand correct, it is an optional addition to this context classloader fix. let's discuss that separately. in the meantime, you can go ahead and contribute this functionality of setting the context classloader. what kind of tests for this did you have in mind ? Hi Heiko. I didn't get it completly in SVN. The gwt-console path has only DAO's, the MockImplementations are where? Do I need a second project? Also I didn't find an answer to one important question myself in the code I found (maybe if you point me to the correct sources I will ;-)), so I post it here: How will the new console access jBPM? Via the CommandService maybe? That would be very nice, this would enable the console to correctly use JTA transactions in the Java EE environment. Something I really miss in the current console! Together with classloading issues I look at at the moment this would make the console much more valuable in a EE/ESB environment! [Design of JBoss jBPM] - Classloader-Registry in AS/ESB allows one central jbpm insta

Hi all! As mentioned in earlier posts I look into class loading issues at the moment. For the current project I proposed a solution, which I quickly sketched into this PDF: http://www.camunda.com/content/jbpm/esb/jbpm-esb-classloading.pdf Hopefully you get the idea from it? By doing it like this, we solved all classloading issues within the ESB/jBPM combination, even with scoped deployments. And the console is working for all processes out of the box. And we don't have to include jbpm jars in every ear and also don't have to put anythin in lib directories (which wouldn't be possible because of different deployed versions). What do you think of this? Feedback, Comments? How about contributing this back? Would this be part of the ESB? I think so... So I think I do a crossposting in the ESB forum (Sorry Ronald ;-)). The Code and the changes aren't that complicated and working here in a JBoss ESB 3.3, even if it is not completely finished yet...
