Be careful with the terminology here. A "candiate-group" statement doesn't "assign" the task. It merely states what groups (or group members actually) are elected for an assignment. Even when the task finally get's assigned to a user, the "candidate-group" remains an orthogonal entity.

How are task lists impacted when we are using swimlane candidate-groups which both a user and a group of users [organisation] can belong?
The intention is to support workflow task allocations across organisational boundaries. Tasks therefore firstly get assigned to an organisation and then to an individual within it.
In the jPDL xsd I can not see how to assign human tasks [wait states] to a swim lane with a candidate-group. The eclipse GPD v4 does not seem to allow for this.

hi,
i want decide on the names for the 2 specific task lists in the console:
1) the list of tasks directly assigned to the authenticated user. aka personal task list, aka assigned task list
2) the list of tasks that the currently authenticated user can take. aka group task list, aka takable task list
whatever name we choose, we must use the same in the api, impl as in the console.
suggestions ?

Hi All
Currently I have configured reminders in my task node as 24 hours. Whenever 24 hours passes the task sents a reminder based on the format from jbpm.mail.templates.xml - <task-assign> tag.
If I create different templates for different tasks ..say for example..<task-review> , <task-approve> etc..in the jbpm.mail.templates.xml - how do i link it to the task? I dont see any template options in the task node level?
Can anybody please help me on this..i am new to JPDL and dont know whether i am asking something obvious?
Regards
Sujatha
