in the project community download, i think we can limit ourselves. maybe for those that want to install it in every possible version of eclipse should revert to the jbosstools update site. is that an option? I did find something out in, there seems to be a configuration/preference/installer handler that can be defined in the feature.xml file. I did not see any example, but it could be used to change preferences install time, so maybe a default. Regarding JEE/Classic, the update mechanism could still be used. I subscribe to the idea. But then we need to limit ourselves to a fresh instance of the Java or JEE edition of Eclipse, as the update mechanism will pull in the other dependencies when using the Classic version. Automatically adding user libraries is probably more tricky. They sit in the preferences whick is a part of the workspace. So if you want to do that, you probably need to ship a 'default' workspace as well (like we did in the past). Eclipse 3.4 has the option to use a drop-in directory, directly in the eclipse dir. It is possible to unzip the gpd site installer there in a subdir (e.g. called jbpm-gpd) and everything is ready to go. This way the users do not have to user the eclipse update-site mechanism. The processes were between multiple companies (a car repair system with 5 different types of participating companies in each processinstance) and every company wanted to know which other company's turn it was to do something. [Design of JBoss jBPM] - method for *all* tasks in a process instance

In a few systems, I've had the need to show all open tasks in a process instance where the user/company is a participant in just to show him/her who's turn it is to do something. A question like this has also come up in the user forum a few times and very recently as well (http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=156509). Is this something we think is worth implementing? I'll file a jira issue anyway so even if it is rejected, there is a log of it that it was discussed.
