Mike, you are completely correct - I checked the spec and it says against UIInput "if
the value has an associated valueExpression". Done.

There are some (albeit very unusual) cases where a UIInput component does not have a
value="#{.....}" binding. The ModelValidator throws a RuntimeException in this
case. Should just silently not validate if the valueBinding is not present.
