Keith Naas commented on JBSEAM-2628:
------------------------------------
Would it be possible to have the build process output a file in the packaged jar that
includes the version in it? This could then be loaded from the classpath? If the maven
pom.xml was included in the jar, it could easily be looked up from the META-INF folder
since maven includes this by default.

Key: JBSEAM-2628
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBSEAM-2628
Project: JBoss Seam
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Wiki
Environment: Firefox 2.0.0.12
Reporter: Keith Naas
Priority: Trivial
At the bottom of the screen, or somewhere on
seamframework.org it would be handy if
information about the execution environment was available. For instance, version of Seam,
JBoss, Java. The most important of which would be the Seam version so I can make sure I
am making code changes to the right version :)
