I didn't notice but some seam update in the last 2 weeks broke the permission system.
Whenever a node is edited, its permissions are set to exclusive access for the current
user. Need to investigate this.

Actually, there was a bug in ConverterChain caused by the migration to ValueExpression -
using forClass works again now.
