Upgrade to 3.5 beta is impossible at this time, so upgraded to 3.3 and HS 3.1 (without the
new indexing API). Hoping that the minor upgrade in HS will resolve the index-out-of-sync
issues. New issues are already visible in the core though from the Hibernate 3.2 - 3.3
upgrade.

Upgrade to latest Hibernate (3.5) and especially Hibernate Search to a) utilize the new
mass indexing API and b) resolve the severe index-out-of-sync problems we had for years
(assuming that it was fixed by coincidence in a newer version of HS).
