Don't attempt to change flush mode if persistence manager is closed
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: JBSEAM-3440
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBSEAM-3440
Project: Seam
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Core
Affects Versions: 2.1.0.BETA1, 2.0.3.CR1
Reporter: Dan Allen
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 2.0.3.CR2, 2.1.0.CR1
Seam should not attempt to change the flush mode if the EntityManager or Hibernate Session
is closed. There are perfectly good use cases when the programmer might need to close the
persistence context before the end of the request and right now, Seam freaks out when it
encounters a closed EntityManager or Hibernate Session.
The solution boils down to simply checking if the persistence context is still open before
making the switch.
