Rendering of drop-down menus (h:selectOneMenu) can be slow in JSF pages when working with
large lists that can appear often (eg. countries - 246 items). It would be nice to be able
to cache the resulting list from s:selectItems so that it can be used again in subsequent
pages/requests.
