Antoine Sabot-Durand commented on JBSEAM-3119:
----------------------------------------------
Pete,
I'm joining Jan in his request. One of our apps is stuck in Seam 2.0 (with which it
was possible to make the multiple War in Ear work with a few trcks) and we have to
re-engineer one of our apps in march to upgrade it in Seam 2.1. I'm starting a very
big project for a bank where I planned to use Seam in a JEE environment, but if I
don't have any visibility on the resolution of this issue (BTW it's not a
"feature request" as it is stated in this Jira ticket but a real Bug) I'll
have to make another recommendation. I won't panic but I'm very puzzled by the low
priority you gave to this issue. You guys at JBoss are doing a great job for making JEE
standard better they use to be, so I don't understand why this big incompatibility of
Seam with JEE is considered to be minor.
Multiple WAR in EAR verification, example, and document

Key: JBSEAM-3119
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBSEAM-3119
Project: Seam
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Documentation Issues, Examples, Platform interoperability
Affects Versions: 2.1.0.A1
Reporter: Jay Balunas
Assignee: Norman Richards
Fix For: 3.0.0.BETA1
Attachments: admin-dvdstore.diff, multi-war-appname1.diff, multi-war-wip-v2.diff,
multi-war-wip.diff, multiple-wars.diff
Create an example of two seam WAR applications inside of an EAR. There has been quite a
bit of forum traffic on the subject and it would be good to nail down an example and
document. There may also be errors and other issue that need to be worked out.
An admin console type application to the standard booking application may be a good way
to go. It would be a real world/useful example.
