Incorrect seam-gen build.xml code relies on ${basedir}/lib folder. Part of <target name="ear"> follows: <copy todir="${ear.dir}"> <fileset dir="${basedir}"> <include name="lib/jbpm*.jar"/> correct implementation: <copy todir="${ear.dir}/lib"> <fileset dir="${lib.dir}"> <include name="jbpm*.jar"/> I hope once it will save some time of debugging strange NoClassDefFoundError exceptions =)
