Michael Youngstrom commented on JBSEAM-1574:
--------------------------------------------
I'm no expert on how s:link works but I'm not really sure how this could have ever
worked since it would seem that JSF itself would have called before renderResponse with
list.xhtml as the view-id before Seam would have time to render details.xhtml instead.
It would seem that in order to fix this Pages would have to take into account not the
view-id of the ViewRoot but rather the view-id of the page it will be rendering which
would seem possible??? and I'm not really sure why that would have to change if it
was working that way before.
view-id actions are not called when rendering from a previous
view-id

Key: JBSEAM-1574
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBSEAM-1574
Project: JBoss Seam
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JSF
Affects Versions: 2.0.0.BETA1
Reporter: Michael Youngstrom
Fix For: 2.0.0.CR1
<page view-id="/list.xhtml">
<navigation>
<rule if-outcome="detail">
<render view-id="/detail.xhtml"/>
</rule>
</navigation>
</page>
<page view-id="/detail.xhtml"
action="#{bean.loadDetail}"/>
Does not appear to call #{bean.loadDetail} when the list navigation rule is executed.
