The element maps to the org.jboss.seam.web.Session class with component name org.jboss.seam.web.session. Chapter 13 (security) of the reference documentation is even more off base by getting both the namespace and the component name wrong, suggesting that it is <core:servlet-session invalidate-on-scheme-change="true"/>
