Brian Leathem commented on SEAM-42:
-----------------------------------
It's not clear to me what the implications are of adding a Seam Conversation
dependency to an application. Would there be a way to use the CDI conversation with the
@Begin/@End annotations?
Is there a case to be made for people who want to use Seam Faces to ease JSF/CDI
development, but who don't necessarily want to go whole-hog with Seam Conversation?
Do we want to keep the @Begin/@End annotations in Faces for such a use case? I for one
would be wary of using Seam Conversation while it's in early days, but like taking
advantage of the @Begin/@End annotations.
@Begin and @End could be moved to the Seam Conversation module

Key: SEAM-42
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/SEAM-42
Project: Seam 3
Issue Type: Enhancement
Components: Conversation Management
Affects Versions: 3.0.0.CR1
Reporter: DRAI William
@Begin and @End unfortunately cannot be used with another view technology. That would be
nice to remove the dependency on Seam Faces and move them to Seam Conversation.
