Matt Drees commented on JBSEAM-2117:
------------------------------------
Actually, I'm not sure this is possible.
I submitted this under the impression that
<f:valueChangeListener type="eg.Listener"/>
worked similarly to
<f:converter id="eg.Converter"/>
But, I was wrong. The first expects a class name, the second expects an ID.
So I don't think there's a way to tell JSF to use a Seam component instead of
instantiating the listener directly.
Oh well.
Seam components as ValueChangeListeners

Key: JBSEAM-2117
URL:

Project: JBoss Seam
Issue Type: Feature Request
Reporter: Matt Drees
Priority: Minor
In the same way you can conveniently use a Seam component as a Converter or a Validator,
it'd be nice to use one as a ValueChangeListener.
