Dan Allen updated JBSEAM-2812:
------------------------------
Attachment: JBSEAM-2812-v1.txt
I have supplied a patch that delegates to the superclass before checking for Groovy
classes, thus grabbing the Java classes as well.
Note that this problem is only seen when you have both Java and Groovy classes in the hot
deployment area.
GroovyHotDeploymentStrategy not reloading Java classes
------------------------------------------------------
Key: JBSEAM-2812
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBSEAM-2812
Project: JBoss Seam
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Hot Deploy
Affects Versions: 2.0.1.CR2
Reporter: Dan Allen
Assigned To: Pete Muir
Fix For: 2.0.2.CR1
Attachments: JBSEAM-2812-v1.txt
Original Estimate: 15 minutes
Remaining Estimate: 15 minutes
The logic that checks if a class is from the hot deploy classloader in
GroovyHotDeploymentStrategy does not properly detect Java classes. It needs to delegate to
the superclass before looking for Groovy classes.
You can verify this problem by examining the value expression
#{init.hotDeployableComponents} in a JSF view.
