A minor related issue is hibernate depends upon jboss-transaction-api, which is a
duplicate of javax.transaction.api.
The unnecessary scala dependencies have been addressed by: TEIID-5664

hibernate-tools.jar brings in lot of eclipse based dependencies (12). Investigate and see
if these can be removed from the dependency chain.
