Ramesh Reddy commented on TEIID-2826:
-------------------------------------
Why is the embedded assembly called module-dist.xml?
module is
generic term
Why are the kits/assemblies combined?
each kit directory
represent different assembly
It seems like we'd want them separated to avoid putting in
exclusions
sure we can do that, just liked keep in same dir
Could the creation of the rar modules be done in just in a generic
task, rather than requiring an assembly for each?
in jboss-as and embedded, the
definition of RAR is modified, these tasks represent that. I was trying to accomplish the
task through pom.xml, but it was not straight forward so I choose this path.
Let me see what is issue, I can define exclusions * with specific to avoid possibly.
