To elaborate, even if the defaults are added to our initial config xml. By design AS will
omit default values when writing back out the config file. Thus we don't bother
trying to keep the xml as a reference document like we did in 7.x.

Referencing TEIID-2108, the login traffic should be encrypted by default. The
standalone-teiid-xml does not specify <ssl mode="login" />, nor does the
teiid-domain-mode-install.cli show to be adding this setting.
