While the code allows for the set statement in a preparedstatement it will not perform
parameter replacement. In other words the value will only be interpreted as a string, no
expression evaluation will be performed.

We should add support in the JDBC driver to set execution properties via a set statement.
This makes it unnecessary to us the custom MMStatement api in most circumstances.
