OK I've added WeldContainer, so now it's as Emmanuel
suggested:
WeldContainer weld = new Weld().initialize();
weld.instance().select(Foo.clas);
weld.shutdown();
So:
new Weld().event() // doesn't exist
new WeldContainer(InstanceManager, BeanManager) // is package protected
