we don't provide a Weld 3 patch for WildFly 9. Also you cannot just use
core/jboss-as/pom.xml to update a "vanilla" instance because Weld 3
requires some extra modifications in Weld/WildFly integration (included
normally in the patch).
If you want to test the lates Weld 3 SNAPSHOT go for WildFly
10.0.0.Final and apply the provided patch. See also
