The Syncs we register do not do any subsequent Sync registration in beforeCompletion so should be on the safe side. Actually that's the case for infinispan-core. Sanne might answer better to this question: is TransactionalEventTransactionContext.registerSynchronization ever going to be called from within another Synchronization.beforeCommit?
