DIST, state transfer and cache loaders

It occurred to me that I'm not sure how state transfer happens in
conjunction with cache loaders, can someone confirm that the statements
below are correct / incorrect ?

- Say we have {A,B,C,D}, all nodes are configured with a disk-based
(local) cache loader
- Key K is mapped to A and B
- After some idle time, K is evicted from A and B
- Now B leaves
- A state transfer of some keys (mapped to A) happens to B
- As part of the state transfer from A to B, do we iterate through the
data stored in A's cache loader ?
(Because if we only iterated through the in-memory data on A, we'd
not transfer K)
Is this done nowadays ?

spammed by infinispan bot

Hello all,
the infinispanbot is pinging me privately since yesterday complaining
that "you're still being suspected of having broken [build...]".
That's ok, cool I get some notifications as I guess some of my pull
requests were merged.
But it now pinged me again for the 26th time in 12 hours.. any idea
before I filter him out?

5.1.x CI is finally blue

We have to thank Sanne for being a driver towards this goal.
Of course, as you're all well aware, a bunch of JIRAs have been created to tackle those randomly failing tests (which they've been disabled to avoid polluting the builds).
Master still has some issues that we're looking into and again Sanne is helping hugely.

I've organized some of our recent discussions around Lucene
integration in our wiki:

Some of the solutions are exploded in JIRAs (on the various projects),
but some are not, in particular the last paragraph: would such an
approach be possible in Infinispan?
I'm afraid it would require quite a rethinking of various components.

First 5.2.0 alpha next week, are you ready?

As discussed today on IRC, we're planning to do a first 5.2.0 alpha sometime mid next week (19-21st June).
So, can you please look into the list of tasks you have for 5.2.0.ALPHA1 and try to either resolve them or defer them? Here's the list of JIRAs:
