I was actually searching for a way to "browse" my repository and I
really thought about webdav as a luxury.
Having a webdav interface to a persistent S3 cachestore showing the
keys of my qi4j store as a tree and exposing it as a filesystem in my
Finder (with all the entries gzip compressed)... NOSQL is alive and
kicking !

I actually wrote GridFS and the webdav demo ... :-)
I wrote it in JGroups, as a prototype. Manik ported it to Infinispan
last week. You should be able to find it in SVN trunk.
Note that not all methods of the superclasses (e.g. java.io.File) have
been implemented, and this is yet experimental...
