Correction: you can use a weird form of the copy command that will do
it, but I had to look this up:
copy /b filename.ext +,,
Do either of these work for, Stan?
type nul >> foo.war.dodeploy
copy nul >> foo.war.dodeploy
The copy /b thing doesn't work on my XP machine. I assume you have
something later; if so if something works on both I'll document it.
In other words, just install Cygwin.
