Having our own copy of the EL libs in the HV module works, definitely
for the time being. I assumed though that having one EL module which can
be used by all EL clients would be beneficial for the sake of the
distribution size (admittedly the RI JARs are < 150 KB).
+100 for having one EL module (it might work to have multiple different
implementations but I'm not sure why we would want to try). I like your
approach of working with any EL, which gives us the flexibility to change.
