I just built the prerelease tag (with
-DskipTests). Everything worked
fine. JSF apps running against both main and 1.2 slots worked without
error. I'll ask the poster some questions to figure out what is wrong
on his end.
What I was curious was should
those modules installed for multi-JSF feature be considered as "user
modules" (which requires it to be located at a specific location in the
filesystem, outside of the "system" folder)or should users be allowed to
stick those modules within the "system" folder (I don't think so).
I
don't know the answer to that. From a philosophical standpoint, JSF
has always acted like a system service and at the same time acted like
something users should be able to replace themselves. Its identity is
fungible.
