[JBoss JIRA] (DROOLS-3727) [DMN Designer] Quick Silver: Minimal standalone preparation

Michael Anstis commented on DROOLS-3727:
----------------------------------------
Hi [~roger600]
I've created https://github.com/kiegroup/kie-wb-common/tree/DROOLS-3727 which contains my latest code.
I still have some more changes to make but it's pretty close to what I'd consider as "preliminary final" i.e. ready for others to use as a guide!
I sync my local {{manstis/kie-wb-common/DROOLS-3727}} branch with {{kiegroup/kie-wb-common/master}} every day.
Let's endeavour to keep {{kiegroup/kie-wb-common/DROOLS-3727}} up to date with our changes too.
BTW I'm happy to meet and talk you through my changes... Did you want to propose a day/time (that fits us both)?
With kind regards,
Mike

[JBoss JIRA] (DROOLS-3845) Green popups are hiding toolbar buttons in the Editors (plural)
by Matteo Mortari (Jira)
Matteo Mortari created DROOLS-3845:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Green popups are hiding toolbar buttons in the Editors (plural)
Key: DROOLS-3845
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/DROOLS-3845
Project: Drools
Issue Type: Enhancement
Components: Stunner
Reporter: Matteo Mortari
Assignee: Roger Martinez
Attachments: Peek 2019-04-03 11-01.gif
I understand that:
{quote}there is a JIRA somewhere on AppFormer to move the "Notifications" to follow Pattern Fly design (which is used by, for example, EAP/WildFly too).{quote}
but
{quote}the green ones however are Stunner.. and IDK if there's one there.. {quote}
as demonstrated here:
!Peek 2019-04-03 11-01.gif!
Personally I become quite fast in clicking the X on those green popups, but it is becoming a bit annoying exercise :) can you kindly consider if there is a better UX/implementation way, please?

> The 1st one is a Decision, the other are Input Data.
> Experienced DMN practitioner may know that a decision logic can only happen to Decision or BKM node, hence one could distinguish potential Input data node by not having decision logic (context in the example). But also what about Decision or BKM for which you didn't write the decision logic yet?
> PLease consider distinguished icon for DRG Elements.
> For example
> leave Input Data with the filled circle
> Decision: filled square
> BKM: filled trapezoid.
> Thanks

[~uxdlc] Would you be able to provide some differentiating icons please!? (Assuming UX agree with the proposal!)
The "top level" node types are:-
* Business Knowledge Model
* Decision
* Decision Service
* Input Data
* Knowledge Source
* Text Annotation
We could just use mini versions of the images we use in the palette?
