While using the Spring MVC framework and calling MultiActionController.bind(request,
ourBean), we encountered a NullPointerException in
org.jboss.util.propertyeditor.DateEditor.setValue(...).
We have tested the same deployment on three versions of JBoss -- this error does not
occur when running on 4.0.3-SP1; however it did occur in both 4.0.4-GA and 4.0.5-GA.
