The following test is failing: Method oneAnnotationMeth = AnnotatedClass.class.getMethod("oneAnnotation", params); assertEquals(1, oneAnnotationMeth.getParameterAnnotations()[0].length); Notice that the first component of oneAnnotationMeth.getParameterAnnotations()[0] should be an Annotation representing the annotation used on oneAnnotation() method, i.e.: assertEquals(AnnotationOne.class, oneAnnotationMeth.getParameterAnnotations()[0][0].annotationType());
