Remy Maucherat commented on AS7-3371:
-------------------------------------
I know you guys are afraid of native (esp Andrig), but this is not going to be the
problem. OTOH, between 7.0.4 and 7.0.5, I rebased on Tomcat 7 EL (which had improvements,
since there are some expressions I didn't handle well, lots of needed updates, etc),
which is a more likely source of problems that would be specific to JSF. The bad news is
that I'll have problems doing much about it, unless it's something obvious that
can be fixed (waiting for more info).
Low Performance of 7.1.0.CR1b - comparing with previous release
---------------------------------------------------------------
Key: AS7-3371
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-3371
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Enhancement
Affects Versions: 7.1.0.CR1b
Reporter: Tomas Remes
Assignee: Remy Maucherat
Priority: Critical
Labels: eap6_prd_req
Fix For: 7.1.0.Final
Attachments: log-7.1.0.Beta1.txt, log-7.1.0.CR1b.txt
There is low (especially stress test) performance of AS 7.1.0.CR1b. Comparing to
7.1.0.Beta1 there is at least three times worse performance. You can see marked builds at
https://hudson.qa.jboss.com/hudson/view/Weld/view/Weld-Performance-All/jo....
In artifacts there is the log.txt file, where you can check stress tests results. I have
run it quite many times with same or mostly similar results.
