If you load two DRL files with same package declaration using two package builders into one rulebase, and only the second DRL file contains globals, the rulebase will throw an exception when loading the second package. This used to work in 3.0.6 but fails in 4.0.4. The following exception is thrown: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException at java.util.AbstractMap.put(AbstractMap.java:228) at java.util.AbstractMap.putAll(AbstractMap.java:317) at org.drools.common.AbstractRuleBase.mergePackage(AbstractRuleBase.java:495) at org.drools.common.AbstractRuleBase.addPackage(AbstractRuleBase.java:399) I will upload an example that reproduces this problem.
