So the console only allows to to connect to one host at a time, how in the console do I
change that to another instance or discover them, I think that is my complaint. It is not
easy to see the other hosts that are available. One of the use cases that Rich Spoke to
was the ability to roll out an application to a group of servers across different hosts,
so how would this work, if I have to connect to each host individually. Of course there
are notions of a domain controller in this problem. I do not think this info is easily
exposed in the console.

No, your understanding of a managed domain is wrong. In a managed domain the domain
controller takes care of propagating changes across hosts. This it true for management
operation, but also applies to deployments. The console is served from the domain
controller and only speaks to it. Any change will then be delegated by the DC across the
domain. No need to contact individual hosts separately.
