No, your understanding of a managed domain is wrong. In a managed domain the domain
controller takes care of propagating changes across hosts. This it true for management
operation, but also applies to deployments. The console is served from the domain
controller and only speaks to it. Any change will then be delegated by the DC across the
domain. No need to contact individual hosts separately.

There is a host drop down, but it is not clear how I would add/connect to a new host to
manage it from within the web console.
