Bela Ban resolved JGRP-584.
---------------------------
Resolution: Done
AUTO_RECONNECT is now handled in a loop, as suggested. The thread doing this only
terminates when connect() is successful, or when the channel is closed (the thread is a
daemon, so it won't block termination)
Reconnection with TCP might not work well
-----------------------------------------
Key: JGRP-584
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JGRP-584
Project: JGroups
Issue Type: Task
Reporter: Bela Ban
Assigned To: Bela Ban
Fix For: 2.6
If we use TCP, then a shun followed by an automatic reconnect may not work, as the
reconnect will fail to join due to the reincarnation issue
(
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JGRP-130).
Investigate whether this works. If it doesn't work, we can possibly run the reconnect
in a loop until the rejoin is successful, or until the channel is closed.
