[JBoss Seam] - Re: JavaScript Error when using sortable <t:dataTable>

I tried the trinidad example on the wiki (registrationtrinidad.zip) and simply changed the tr:inputText tag to an h:inputText tag (and of course removed the trinidad-specific attributes). No changes to the web.xml or faces-config at all. There is no way to execute the run.bat and have it run from within eclipse, so what jboss ide does is execute the jar with its arguments directly. If you browse through the run.bat, you can find out how it takes the arguments from the properties file and then executes the jar. You can then take those arguments and apply them to the starting of the server by modifying your server's launch configuration. To change arguments directly, double click on the server and click "Edit Launch Configuration" which should come up as a hyperlink. There you can edit directly the arguments. I realize this isn't as nice as having it read properties files, but... ... that's what we've got right now. The docs say to change deploy/ear-deployer.xml, turning on Isolated and CallByValue Mine is below (it looks fine to me. Again, the installer set it correctly |  | <attribute name="Java2ClassLoadingCompliance">false</attribute> |  | <attribute name="UseJBossWebLoader">false</attribute> | Last, the doc I saw (can't find the link right now) said to change conf/jboss-service and change the NamingService CallByValue setting. Now, in 4.0.5, it appears that NamingService moved (to deploy/naming.sar/META-INF/jboss-service?) And it appears that, right or wrong, the installer didn't set CallByValue to true in that file. I tried it both ways, and I still get the error. Thus, as you can see, I believe that I (or the installer) have set the config values correctly based on the docs and yet things still don't work on 4.0.5. Ideas? After selecting file->new->other, there should be a folder named Server, and under that, just one element, Server. If you do not see the Server folder, then you do not have webtools installed. You can either go download webtools from the eclipse site, or just ditch your myeclipse installation in favor of the 'real' jboss ide.
